COMPLETE CLUTTER CONTROL
Professional Organizing Services
Lisa Munkvold
Owner and Professional Organizer
Despite what people may think, not all organizers are naturally organized. I, for one, was born messy. Growing up, my house was clean and tidy; the only exception was my room.
Even though my bedroom was cluttered, my schoolwork was always impeccable. And whenever I was at friends’ houses, I found myself sorting and straightening their rooms for fun. The organizing gene was clearly there, even if my own space didn’t always reflect it.
I have earned a business degree, attended culinary school, worked in the hospitality industry and the corporate world, and even had a short stint as a manager at a pottery studio. However, it was not until I became a stay-at-home mom running a household of 5 that I truly realized the importance of organization and keeping up with it all. Over the years, I have implemented systems that work for us in our house, freeing up our time and making room for more than cleaning up clutter.
Fast-forward to 2015, when a friend hired me to get her whole house into shape. She said she had noticed my knack for creating order and needed someone with my no-nonsense approach to help her do just that. Since then, word of mouth and referrals got the ball rolling, and in 2018, I officially established Complete Clutter Control.
Even though my career path has not been linear, I firmly believe that my marketing degree and every job I have held have given me beneficial knowledge and experience. Whether folding sheets and towels in a hotel, doing food prep in a busy commercial kitchen, or setting up files and managing schedules in a large office, all these things involve being organized and creating systems that work.
I genuinely believe my personal experiences are invaluable assets in this field. I know firsthand that it is possible to emerge from under a messy pile and have a beautiful, functional, and organized space.
Despite never dreaming of owning my own business, here I am! I love what I do, but more importantly, I love seeing the positive impact my work has on my clients’ lives. I believe I have finally found my path!
I want to share my techniques, tips, and experience with those who need it. Most of all, I want to enable people to control their clutter so that it does not control them and their lives!
